The COBE Substance Use Research Core unites researchers and practitioners across the university who conduct research and/or provide services related to alcohol or other drug use. The core works on building research collaborations aimed at understanding, preventing and treating substance use problems, and works collaboratively to develop coursework, programming and other opportunities to integrate research into the broader VCU and Richmond community.
